Dear 2022 BCLTS Annual Conference delegates,  

 

Thank you for participating in this conference in person or online. We sincerely hope that you’ve found it useful and informative. In total, 125 colleagues attended this conference, with 35 at the OU and 90 via Zoom. Participants were from the UK, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Russia, Israel, Australia and the USA.  It has been a great atmosphere to see so many colleagues and to share the research findings and thoughts.

On 24th June: In-person registration starts at 12pm UK time and the conference starts at 13:00 UK time.

On 25th June: It starts at 8:30 UK time and finishes at 17:00 UK time.

The British Chinese Language Teaching Society (BCLTS) and the School of Languages and Applied Linguistics at The Open University are pleased to announce the 19th International Conference of BCLTS, Creativity in Chinese Language Teaching and Learning -- Research and Practice in Challenging Times. This will take place online and face-to-face at the Open University Milton Keynes campus, on the 24th/25th June 2022.

Please note:  

  • In-person attendance is limited, due to ongoing COVID uncertainty. Priority will be given to presenters. Details on how to attend in-person will be sent out after the 1st of May and will be announced on BCLTS website.
  • Accommodation and travel expenses will be self-funded for non-BCLTS members.
  • Tea/coffee and lunches for on-site participants
  • Optional Conference dinner (£30) for on-site participants
